Why Simpson & Partners?
Simpson & Partners is a particularly good fit if you care about how the charger looks and how long it should remain useful. Its Home Series combines UK design and manufacture with repairable hardware, premium finishes and strong home-energy features.
The Home Series Plus is the one to look at when solar charging, premium metal or Accoya wood finishes and wireless energy management matter most; the standard Home Series keeps things simpler.
The chargers are developed and manufactured from Simpson & Partners’ Cotswolds base, with a distinctive low-key design rather than an off-the-shelf industrial look.
The hardware is designed so internal components can be repaired or upgraded instead of treating the entire charger as disposable when technology moves on.
Metal and Accoya wood lid options, along with a broad colour range, make the Home Series particularly easy to specify for homes where appearance matters.
Home Series Plus supports solar charging and dynamic load balancing, with wired or optional wireless energy management and control through the Simpson & Partners app.
Want something more considered than a standard plastic wall charger? We can help you choose the right Home Series model, finish and energy-management setup.

The Home Series is built for people who want the charger to feel like part of the house rather than an appliance bolted to it. You can tailor the power, cable setup and finish, with upgraded Plus options for more advanced home-energy features.
Best for: drivers who want a UK-designed premium charger with far more choice over appearance, specification and future home-energy integration.
The Home Series can be specified around your property and preference, including tethered or socketed charging and 7kW or 22kW configurations where the electrical supply supports it.
Basic models focus on straightforward smart home charging, while Plus versions add a wider choice of finishes together with enhanced solar and wireless energy-management options.
Its modular hardware is designed so components can be serviced and upgraded rather than treating the entire charger as disposable when technology moves on.
Choose from hand-finished colours and metal or wood details. Current V3 Home Series products are promoted with a 10-year manufacturer warranty, subject to the manufacturer's terms.

Everything you need to know about the Home Series and your installation, including Basic vs Plus, finishes, solar energy management and long-term warranty cover.
The Home 7 Basic focuses on the core 7kW smart-charging experience, while the Plus versions add the wider energy-management and premium configuration options that make the Home Series particularly flexible.
The range can also be configured as 7kW single-phase or 22kW three-phase, and as tethered or untethered, depending on the model and your property.
Because there are more combinations than with most charger brands, we'll specify the exact Home Series version in your quote rather than leaving you to decode the options yourself.
A standard Simpson & Partners installation typically takes around 3 hours. Most jobs are completed in a single visit by one of our own engineers, including mounting the charger, running the cable, fitting the required electrical protection, commissioning the charger and testing everything before we hand over.
More involved installations — such as longer cable runs, consumer-unit work or difficult access — can take longer. We'll identify anything outside a standard installation when we quote, rather than surprising you with extra work on the day.
We install Simpson & Partners chargers across North West England and North Wales. If you're near the edge of our usual coverage area, send us your postcode and we'll confirm whether we can reach you before you go any further. There's no charge to ask.
Yes. The Home Series supports smart charging and tariff integration, while compatible Plus configurations provide more advanced solar and home energy-management options.
That makes Simpson & Partners particularly attractive if you want a premium-looking charger but don't want to sacrifice the energy-management features found on more technology-led units.
The exact solar and energy-management hardware depends on whether you choose Basic or Plus and how your home's existing generation and metering are configured.
The current Home Series is backed by a 10-year enclosure warranty and 5-year power-electronics warranty from Simpson & Partners.
That's alongside our own 3-year workmanship warranty covering your installation. As an OZEV-authorised, NAPIT-certified installer with our own in-house team, the people carrying out your installation are the people who stand behind the work afterwards.
Our Simpson & Partners Home Series installations start from £949. Your final price depends on the model, specification, finish and installation requirements you choose.

Current eligible home schemes can cover 75% of the cost up to £500 and are funded until 31 March 2027. We'll tell you if your installation may qualify.
