Usually yes, with thought about where it goes. A home charger is 7kW, so it's slower than a public rapid — but it's designed to work overnight, not in twenty minutes. Almost every EV fully recharges between parking up and leaving in the morning. That matters more out here than in a city: with public rapids few and far between in south Cheshire, leaving home full every day is the whole point. Pair it with an overnight EV tariff and you're charging at a fraction of public rates.

Two different things, and both work in your favour. Being NAPIT-certified means we're registered electricians on a Government-approved competent person scheme — every install meets the current wiring regulations (BS 7671, Section 722), is fully tested, and we self-certify and notify Building Control for you. Being OZEV-authorised means we're approved to claim the EV chargepoint grant on behalf of eligible customers. Both matter if you ever sell — and on a period or listed property, that paperwork gets looked at properly.
